Privacy Policy

Fydra is designed so that your data belongs to you and no one else — not even us. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or have access to any of your personal data. Fydra operates no servers of its own.

What Fydra stores

Everything you save in Fydra — secure notes, API keys, SSH keys, payment cards, identity documents, attachments, and more — is encrypted on your device using AES-256-GCM before it is written to storage. Encryption keys are held in the Apple Keychain and Secure Enclave and never leave your devices in unencrypted form.

iCloud sync

If you enable sync, your encrypted vault is synchronised across your own devices through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. This data lives in your iCloud, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Fydra's developer cannot read, access, or recover it, and it is compatible with Apple's Advanced Data Protection.

Analytics and tracking

Fydra contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. We do not build a profile of you and we do not share data with anyone.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the one-time lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Fydra never receives your payment details. Apple provides only anonymised information about whether a valid purchase or subscription exists, which is used solely to unlock features.

Diagnostics

Fydra does not send diagnostic data to us. If you opt in to share crash and usage data with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymised crash reports, handled under Apple's policies.

Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your devices and in your iCloud for as long as you keep it. You can delete individual items in the app, empty Recently Deleted, or remove all data by deleting the app and its iCloud data from your Apple account. Because we hold nothing, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

Children

Fydra is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
