Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Fydra app. By downloading or using Fydra you agree to them. Fydra is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA); where these terms are silent, the Apple EULA applies.

The service

Fydra is a native app for storing sensitive information that Apple Passwords does not cover. Data is encrypted on your device; optional sync uses your own iCloud account. You are responsible for keeping access to your devices and Apple Account secure.

Free tier and Fydra Pro

Fydra is free to use for up to 10 items, including iCloud sync and attachments. Unlocking unlimited items and the SSH agent for Mac requires either an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase:

• Monthly — €2.99 per month.
• Yearly — €19.99 per year.
• Lifetime — €59.99 one-time.

Prices are shown in EUR and may vary by region and over time.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in App Store → your account → Subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation.

Lifetime purchase

The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks Pro features for the lifetime of the Fydra app and its reasonable continued availability. It is not a subscription and does not renew.

Refunds

All purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests are subject to Apple's policies and are made through Apple's Report a Problem.

SSH agent (macOS)

The optional Fydra SSH Agent is distributed as a separate notarized download and provided as-is for use with the Fydra app.

The agent can only use SSH keys without a passphrase. If you remove a key's passphrase (for example with the Terminal command Fydra offers) and store the result in Fydra, the key is protected by your Fydra vault encryption and your device authentication instead of its own passphrase. You decide whether to do this, and you are responsible for keeping any copy of the original key file you may need.

Disclaimer and liability

Fydra is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While Fydra is built with strong, industry-standard encryption, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups and device security. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fydra's developer is not liable for any loss of data or damages arising from use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
